Morocco’s official e-Visa portal, Accès Maroc, is functioning normally again after more than 10 days of technical issues, according to tests conducted on August 31, 2026, by travel formalities experts at VisasNews and Action-Visas.
The problems first appeared around August 20, 2026. While the portal remained accessible and travellers could still check their eligibility, many got stuck later in the process, particularly after accepting the “travel conditions,” where clicking “NEXT” led to a loading screen that never progressed. No official explanation has been given for the cause of the disruption or how it was resolved.
Following the August 31 checks, applicants can once again complete the full e-Visa application process without issues. Under normal conditions, Accès Maroc offers two processing options: a standard e-Visa within 72 Moroccan business hours, or an express e-Visa within 24 hours. However, these timeframes apply only once an application is submitted, and experts note that processing may still take longer than usual due to the backlog caused by the outage.
Travellers with upcoming trips are advised to submit applications as soon as possible rather than waiting until the last few days before departure.
